Websites in One Week (the ‘Promoter’) is giving away five (5) prizes to five (5) different entrants. The first prize drawn will win an 8 page optimised, responsive website chosen from the website designs and packages on websitesinoneweek.com.au to the value of $2,000 (two thousand dollars) AUD (‘Winner’).
The next four (4) prizes drawn (‘Runners Up’) will each receive a $200 AUD e-gift voucher which will be sent to each prize winner’s email address. This voucher will be able to be used towards any of the services on Websites in One Week (https://websitesinoneweek.com.au/ )
The total prize pool is worth $2800 AUD.
All prizes are non-transferrable.
Entry to the free website game of chance closes at 11:59pm (AEDT) on the 18th of October 2020 (AEDT). The winner and Runners Up will be announced on the 19th of October 2020 (AEDT).
Terms and Conditions of the Free Website competition:
- Only the chosen first prize winner will receive the free 8 page optimised website.
- The two Runners Up will be sent the e-gift card to their nominated email address.
- It is the responsibility of each of the Runners Up to respond to the Promoter within 7 days of receiving notification of being one of the Runners Up, and provide their preferred email address when contacted through Facebook.
i. Information on how to enter and prizes on offer form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and Websites in One Week’s Privacy Policy located here.
ii. Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over. To enter the competition, eligible entrants must follow the official Websites in One Week Facebook page located at this URL: https://www.facebook.com/WebsitesinOneWeekAU and comment ‘WOW’ on the Facebook post that will be published by websitesinoneweek.com.au, between the dates 9/10/2020 to 18/10/2020. The promotional post will initially be published on the Websites in One Week facebook page on 9/10/2020 at 9:00am (AEDT). Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
iii. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
iv. The promotion commences at 1:00pm AEDT on the 9th of October 2020. Entries close at 11:59pm AEDT on the 18th of October 2020 unless extended by the Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to close the competition earlier without warning. The winner will be notified through facebook on the 19th of October 2020 at 5:00pm. The Winner must respond to the notification message within 48 hours of the date on which the message was sent in order to claim their prize. This is a game of chance and no skill is required to enter. The winner is based on a randomised barrel draw, after meeting the entry requirements listed in these terms and conditions.
v. Only one entry per person will be accepted. Commenting ‘WOW’ more than one time on the Facebook post will not result in additional entries. Each Facebook profile may qualify for one entry to ensure fairness of the draw. Commenting ‘WOW’ with multiple profiles will disqualify the entry.
vi. The Winner will be determined at 4:00pm AEDT on the 19th of October 2020 through a Barrel Draw system to ensure that the winner chosen is randomly selected. The Runners Up will then be selected from the barrel, following the selection of the winner. This will take place at the registered address of Websites in One Week ABN 71 359 242 169. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter will attempt to contact each Winner by phone and in writing within two business days and will have their name published on websitesinoneweek.com.au and Websites in One Week social media platforms on 24/01/2020.
vii. The Runners Up can spend their e-gift voucher at websitesinoneweek.com.au. The e-gift cards will each be valued at $400 AUD and are redeemable for 3 months from issue.
viii. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
ix. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
x. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of the prize.
xi. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, and prize suppliers. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter will share the winner’s name on it’s social media and website websitesinoneweek.com.au. Entrants consent to the Promoter sharing their full name and city if they win any prize.
xii. This competition will use Facebook website however participants and entrants in this game of chance release Facebook and acknowledge that the competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook.
